The Musicans Commandments
1.) Thou shalt not break time unless it is during an outro.
2.) If thou hits a wrong note, thou shall bend that note until thoust has achieved the correct pitch.
3.) Thou shall take no crap from any drummer.
4.) Everything is compatable with everything unless blown up otherwise.
5.) Thou shall drink more beer than the gig pays.

I am currently working on writing my first album. I have a demo of all the songs and it sounds decent despite the lack of lyrics, drum, and bass tracks.
Here is some more detailed info for each track.
"How Many Licks" is a great song that is very heavy, and jams nicely. It is very bluesy and has a nice lead. I usually use the Danelectro to play it.
"Jocorzaks Peak" is an awesome song that is only a few simple riffs, but sounds good, and has a bitchin' drum solo in it. It is usually played on the SG. (The name is from a video game.)
"Sands Of Time" is a multi-part space rock song, that is one of my personal favorites. Tuned EBDGBE, I tend to stick to the SG to play this tune as well.
"The Fourth Finger" is a blues song, it has several parts and is a great song. The name is because I use my Pinky a lot when playing it. This tune is either played on the SG or Strat.
"Lindsay's Song" is probably my favorite. It is a mellow acoustic song with no lyrics, but it dosent need them because it is good just the way it is. In electric versions I use the Dano, but for the album it will be recorded with an acoustic guitar.
"Melophobia" (The fear of music) is a hard rockin' heavy song. it has a double tracked solo throughout the whole thing. I use the SG to hammer out this tune.
LISTEN
"Mindless Ridge" is a spaced out rock song that is really different. It is really cool. I usually reserve the stratocastor to play this tune.
"Kuru" (A virus contracted from eating human brains) is another one of my favorites, it has cool drums and simple fast riffs, it kicks. Kuru is the only song I reserve the Flying V for.
"Gatelock" is a newer one that I wrote, it has good blues riffs and sounds kind of like the Allman Brothers. Orginally I used the Dano to record it, but in later takes I used the Les Paul. I like the recording with the Dano better.
"It Takes It All To Lose It All" is another one of my favorites and it is as "Poppy" as the album gets. Hopefully it will be released as a single. I usually use the SG for this song. I wrote this one in 2006, and recently re-recorded it.
LISTEN This took me 4 hours one night, and is my second attempt at vocals. I did everything on the track except for the cymbals and kick drum. I would really like to put a good bassline and drumbeat to it as well.
"Matador" is an interesting song that has interesting riffs and cool interludes. Tuned to EADGBD, it is an open song, probably will use the Harmony Bobkat because it is a surf rock kind of song.
"High On The Hill" is going to be an epic. It is dark and heavy and scary, it won't dissapoint. The beginning has a keyboard intro in an Arabic scale, followed by a guitar solo on the Les Paul also in an Arabic scale. Then the SG comes in and does the main chorus parts. I put a keyboard accompany with it, and the end is an outro on the SG. This is the first song I recorded Vocals onto, and they sound pretty good.
"Osolation" is the trippiest song on the album. It is done with echo pedals and slide guitar, it sounds amazing. My first recording was on the SG and I think it sounded the best.
I use Ableton Live 5, Cool Edit Pro, Sony Sound Forge, and Audacity to record my tracks.
Thanks for looking and hopefully it will be recorded in the [near] future.
